paint falling off ???
I have a 07 1200 custom. I was at the dealership and found detachable side plate for $20.00 (light scratches). While swapping out my rigid mount bar I put my fingers on the inside of the rear fender and felt something pulled my hand out to find a strip of paint 1/2 inch wide x 4 inch long! The paint is coming off both sides. If this was in the middle no big deal but it is coming off right at the very edge. These kind of problem SPREADS. I called customer service to see if it would be covered the told me to take it to a dealer so it could be photoed and asset. I think I'm going to get hosed. I planned on changing color with H-D's color spectrum this winter but if this is normal no way. Is anybody else having problems?
