Default Any conversion kit recommendations?

I have a 2000 883C and I want to start looking into converting it to a 1200. I really really want to do this myself and I just want to make sure a get a good kit (I've seen people get kits for stuff like handle bars or something relatively small and have parts that are just way off) and I'd really love any writen guides for doing it. I'm really not afraid of doing it myself but I just want to make sure I'll have the right tools and I know what kind of troubles to look out for.

NRHS, and go directly for the 1250 kit. Otherwise, you'll regret it... trust me. I've got the 1200 kit, but man those extra 50 C.C.'s and few extra H.P.'s would really make me happy since I'd be right near the 100 hp mark. At this point, it's not worth the extra money and labor to do the jump, just wish I would've done it in the first place.

Awesome, I didn't even know there was a 1250 kit. Now I'm just not sure about Aluminum or Cast Iron. I'm sure the aluminum is better but I doubt it's worth the extra 445 bucks to get something where I'd need to actually race (which I just don't do) to really see any difference.

It's too bad I'm not really ready for the big 88 conversion kit
