I just got my 1200c for $9,800 including the extended warranty plus dock/dealer/regristration fees was another couple hundred bucks, and they tossed on a $1000 gift card that I put towards an exhaust, intake and tune.. I didn't think it was a bad deal.

I won't even tell you how badly I took it~! I bought a 2006 883C in June of 2006. I bought all of the bells and whistles because that is what they told me I needed. I have ridden mine alot. I have over 30,000 miles on it now, but I still owe way more than what a new one is now. I am so far upside down, that when I went into a dealer to talk about trading for a different bike, they actually laughed at how much I owe on this one.

I learned alot in that deal and I will try not to get screwed so badly on my next one!

all harley dealers suck unless you are totaly wealthy and dont care if you spend 50 dollars for a 14 dollar pair of brake pads, and belive me i have seen plenty of rubs, newbs and posers dig deep into thier pockets so that the salesman will call them bikers!!!!!!!!!!!

YIKES!!!! Paid $6,250 for my Red 2006 883 when it was new. Just over $7,000 out the door. Couldn't get anything for it now in a trade (has almost 60,000 miles). But I don't wanna trade it, and didn't finance it.

Try coming to Australia & check out their Prices! XL883C 2005 cost almost $12,750. I know it looked as New! around 22,000 Kls on Clock.. But!..You can get 1200 Nightster's here & they want around $17Grand plus..Convert USA $$$$ into Aust $$$ & see what the actual Price is. .Cannot see why we here have to Pay Big Bucks!
