Default riser/drag bars

ok so now that i actually have the bike in my possession i am getting the bug to modify/customizze it. i want a solo seat and that shouldnt be too hard to find, but my next main thing is maybe a set of pullback drag bars. and i saw the hd drag bars you need to use the stock riser. i like the look of the riser on the customs does anyone know if that riser will fit on the roadster and also will it fit with the stock cables. if not what bars have people used on 06 roadsters that will fit with the risers built in

I,m runnin a 06 custom so not sure if its the same, I just got the drag bars Harley offers, they are sweet. Changed teh way the bike felt for sure. And they still use the stock cables. on thing to be careful of, you have to very slightly rotate the hand controls up so the turn signals dont hit the tank when you turn lock to lock. I would post a pic or two but cant figure it out heres a link

Flip through those all you want hard to see much since they are posser shots tho,

Bike looks very nice. Wondering would those bars work with a regular 883?

Cant see why not, call up your local harley place and see what they say, if the exact ones i got dont then im sure there is a set for yours. I went with the wiring inside the bars too, that cost more but man did it clean up the look!

Well i was just looking on the HD website and 883C handlebars has a taller riser. So i think to make it work i would need a 883C riser assy, longer brake and throtle lines and the drag bars. They dont make drag bars specific for an 883 sportster from what i can tell. It would also relocate the tach which i like and think it would give the regular 883 a sleaker look. I am sure its been done before.

Unamed...Bars look sweet. How's the riding postition on them? Are your arms stretched forward more? Im thinking about drag bars but Im worried that I will be too far forward in the seat. I prefer my bars to be laid back but I do love the looks of the drag bars. Nice looking chrome additions you added too.
