I'm thinking about putting a set of drag bars on my '08 FXDC. I should be able to get away with 8" pullback risers on a 31" bar and still use my stock cables, but I'm worried about it being a little too far forward.
I'm 5'9'' with a 32-inch sleeve. Anybody else put on a similar setup (preferrably a T-Bar with built-in risers and pullback) on their Dyna? How's the fit?
I have HD Street Slammers on mine. I'm also 5'9". Dont know about my sleeve length. The reach is fine for me. I have just added a BungKing 1 1/2" spacer between them and the top tree. It didn't seem to bring the bars much closer, but did raise them up slightly and I'm liking it better this way. I had them installed when I bought the bike and it still has the stock cables. Probably room to go an inch higher if I wanted.
