front tire starting to crack

Sound like they put on old tires. They can tell by the numbers on the tire when they were manufactured. If they weren't reasonably fresh when the bike was made I would really press for total replacement.

well i called customer service today and they told me the tires are covered for 72 months,they gave me a reference number and said to take it to the dealer and if they have a problem with it to give them a call with the reference number and they will make sure its replaced..thanks for the help guys

well I have the same issue, 17 streetglide, minimal tire wear, cracking in the treads. The dealership is washing their hands clean and HD customer support says its a dunlop issue. What a load of crap! It is true, once your out the door and they get their money they could give a rats ***!

Nice thread resurrection. But, cracking is not normal. Usually a sign of an old tire after 5 or more years. Check the date code, and see if they slipped you an old tire.

Contact Dunlop and see what they say. That might be the "customer service" the OP talked with, he was not really clear about which company gave him a "reference number" from what I read.
