i read this from alot there are a lot of people that modify thier new bikes quit a bit not trying to put abody down but how many leave thier bikes stock

thats all the fun! plus i bought the bike cuz it was a good platform for the mods i wanted to do.

I agree about a stock bike having a great platform to change/ customize. I think changing up a bike and making it your own just attaches you more to it. And, it's part of the fun of owning a bike! But hey, if stock is what makes you happy... then by all means leave it stock and enjoy it!

hey austen how are you likin that intake and pipe combo?? I thinkin about getting the sideshots and wrappin'em, you got a download, or supertuner if so with one?

Heres the real question...Do you leave a bike stock because you truly want a stock bike? Or can you not afford the mods you want so you are content to have a stock bike? I rode my Sporty stock for the first year I owned it because I could not afford to do anything with it. I had myself convinced the a stock bike was all I needed. Then one day some funds opened up and guess what? I no longer liked my stock bike!

'09 Sportster 1200 Custom (Vivid Black) - all stock except for 2 unnoticeable mods:

BrightAssLights (they use stock rear lenses)
Denso Iridium fine-wire spark plugs
