No problems with Ethanol gas, but I have a station by me that has non-ethanol, and when I use that, the bike seems to run better, and certainly gets about 10% further on a tank of fuel.
KaBluie beat me to it. It will run on 87 but I have found the carbed bikes like the higher octane fuels better. Easier starts, better fuel mileage, and a little bit more oomph by the seat of the pants measuring method.

+1 The "non-ethanol" station is 10 miles away from us. Good excuse to take the long way home.
I too have a station close that sells the non-oxygenated stuff. I run the pure stuff when I can. Also, ethanol blends don't keep as long as regular unleaded gas. If your going to store it for the Winter, I would use non-oxygenated (read non-ethanol) gasoline.

Ethanol fuel has been around for 20 years in certian places, I used it in everything when I lived in the mid-west.
I don't understand why so many people are so worried about it now.
If you're not sure about it buy your gas at the expensive name brand stations, like I do.
