Loose Stearing
I have only had my 2007 a few months and have noticed that when I turn my bar quickly that it feels like it has a little play in it. I tightened the nut at the top with about a 90 degree turn(clockwise of course) and it still feels loose. Should I go another 90 degrees or take it to the steeler? Thanks for any feedback! Any advice on where to get the best deal on a manual would be appreciated! FDR

The steering head "fall away" adjustment can be tricky (confusing) if you've never seen it done. Continuing to tighten the stem bolt is not advised. If you are going to do your own maintenance, in addition to the Service Manual, I recommend getting the "Fix My Hog" DVD. The DVD walks you through all the normal service procedures, including the fall away adjustment. http://www.fixmyhog.com/
