Default Loose stuff

Ok so I did an oil change today at 8300 miles.....it was the 3rd one. anyways, I was wiping away some oil and found this Steel braided line loose on one end, there is some linkage there too.
Anyways to get to this thing and tighten, you have to take apart lots of things. Including the brake system so you can get behind the hose.screws are very tight. This is just a bracket right?

yupp, its a ground cable hooked to your rubber mount. you can deffinetly leave it alone but if you start having wierd electrical problems....that should be yr first suspect

it could still be ground...just not connected directly to any wiring. Could be a link to two different engine components that continues the ground circuit...if that makes sense.

It's a ground. Some components are not grounded due to the rubber mount so this is installed to make it the same, electrically, as the frame. Just curious, what would you expect it to be wired to?

Default Its not a ground, its a wire lock strap.

and the damn thing keeps coming undone. Can I put some locktight on it? I tighten it up every week and it keeps wiggling loose, but it can't totally fall out!
