Timing module cam sensor

Has anyone had any experiences with the timing module in the nosecone? What about the ignition module under the seat? I have been fighting with hard or no start and backfiring through the pipes.

You need to give some info about your bike, including any mods.

Just by the two symptoms you described, you may want to look at the intake seals befroe ignition.

This 03 has the Screamin' Eagle carb jetted ...........The backfiring seems to be the reult of raw gas being loaded in the pipes til it's ignited !

03 also has bolony cut pipes on it too !
