Never new there was such an animal. Used to run the Harley Dunlops then switched to Metzeler cuz they seemed to mellow out the grooves on the freeway. Good Luck.
Im running Avon Venom's.. and Ive been happy with them..
they do get kinda squerley in the rain though... anyone else have this issue?
Same here on not knowing they existed......And Nope, to 3Rrds question on the squirrelly Venoms in the rain. That's what I'm running right now. I'm wondering if the SE tires aren't just Dunlops with SE design on the sidewall & slightly different tread pattern.
Although there are good reviews on the Dunlop E3's for the BT's, they don't fit Sporties. I'm done with Dunlop's and their poor mileage and handling, I'm staying with Metzler 880's for much better mileage and better handling.
Thanks WV for the input.. I wonder if I have an issue.. It doesn't get like that unless its raining.. or has rained recently.. theres not many miles on my tires..
when its wet it feels like im riding on glass sometimes.. hum.. I'll have to look more in to it I suppose..
I asked the dealer about these after seeing them on their web site. These are the tires they put on the Screaming Eagle bikes. They are supposed to be a softer and stickier tire than the stock Dunlops.
The parts guy (who I trust) said they are comparable to the Metz 880s. The reason I am looking at these is, my local dealer is having a 25% off sale on Harley parts making these $234.00.
