I've put about 25,000 and have checked my primary chain deflection about 5 times. (I put the bike in 5th and find the tight spot). I've never had to adjust the chain, it's always been to spec. (I have the standard shoe)

never is a strong word....I have always found that the older the chain, the less it will stretch....like everything else...exsept for one thing that comes to mind
