I got the contoured HD grips. These are comfortable grips and they come in medium and small diameter. Definitely help my hands however I dont think they are vibration stoppers. My bike doesnt really have a serious vibration problem....

I see they have those grips in small 1.3" and medium 1.5". Does anyone know what the stock grip diameter is?

I've heard of guys putting rolls of coins into the bars, then installing new grips. Never done it myself, but it might be worth a shot for ya.

1.3" is stock on '04-later XL models.

just put on a set of kuryakyn with throttle boss it helped a little i have had both a 1200c and a wg there was no problem like this o well ill find out at 1000 service

I have the same grips on my Custom. I can see the vibe if the grips are not touched, but when I put my hands on them, I don't really notice it.

yea well the dealer feels it to they think it may be the primary chain hope it will straighten out.

Well this is real old thread. I am loosing use of my thumbs,anything new in 10 years that will help.Both hands have had operations and now it is author at work. Pleasure of riding going away. HELP>please.
