Exclamation IED O2 Install Help

Hey guys I'm tryin to install the 2 IED O2 wires that came with the bike. I believed I installed them correctly but theres still popping in decel. I was wondering if I had to completely remove the original wires and replace them with these or do I just add these between the original area where they connected
Now I drawed a picture to help explain cause I couldnt find a picture of the install, please hang in there with me

Why did you remove them? Is the bike stock or have you modified anything( stage 1 kit etc.).

I didn't remove anything. I just plugged the IED inbetween the two original wires. The bike is Stock accept Rush Pipes. Thats why I put this on instead of a PC or something like that until I more highly modify the powerside

You wasted your $$ on the IED's! Now then, spend more $ on a Intake and more $ on a Stage 1 Down Load, which is still a waste as that program is also lean. When you have the extra $$, buy the TTS and have it tuned right! BTW, you installed them correctly, they run between the harness.

ECM to adjust and pick up everything
ride it and it will get better

Well I didnt really spend any money on them, they came in a box when I bought the bike from a guy. He had a bunch of accesories for it but never installed any of them. So I thought that it couldn't hurt it to put it on until I bought more stuff for it

It won't hurt it, but also doubt you will see or feel any difference! The IED will throw a code, but it won't hurt or effect anything. It just irritates me that so many people want to throw on a band aid fix for a problem that needs serious attention. I understand the $$ thing, but if someone is going to do something, they should just do it right the first time and be done with it. In the long run, it's $$ saved..
