Depends on what type/size of bags you want. I got some from hot leathers that fit without moving turn signals and then glued lexan on the back side of the bags where they rub shocks. 5000 miles later no problems or leaks.

I have hot leather as well. good and fit like you said. I wore a hole in no time on the back/shock side, patched leather over and used glue. Still holding. What is lexan and where does one get it? Never heard of it
I had throwover bags with the bracket to keep them off the wheel and shock and didn't like the look without the bags so I went with EasyBrackets. http://www.easybrackets.com/
You need to relocate the turn signals, I used the H-D kit. DON"T cut the connectors off the turn signals like the instructions say unless you have the special crimping tool, it's not a normal electrical crimp tool. Either get the right too, I borrowed one from my H-D dealer, or cut the wires where you can make a proper soldered and shrink wrapped splice.
