Default stalling out

well my nuts r in a tight squeeze right now n its starting to hurt. my issue is that sometimes when i start up my nightster (09) and while it's warming up, it seems like it is idiling so low that it will catch itself right before it stalls and makes this choking noise. sometimes it will stall out and when it does, i noticed a foggy smoke coming from my air cleaner. the "smoke" is gone with in a few seconds and it doesn't smell like something is burning. i had v&h short shots, big breather kit and a fuel pak installed at my local dealer. is it possible that they put the wrong code in and that's why my bike makes that "choking" noise from time to time? or am i not the only one with this issue, or is it a manufacturing think from harley.....help me out guys!!!!

Well, I hope there not getting squeezed to hard they might pop! I have a 08 1200 xlc that did the same thing. Did you or Harley install the Aircleaner, pipes and fuel pak? any way if you ask me the bike is running really lean. If harley did the download to the bike you can bet the bike is lean on fuel that little puff of smoke might be condinsation that builds up when the bike is warming up and when the bike coughs like its going to stall you see the foggy smoke. I could be wrong but I was told this by a indy shop. they suggested to my I put the bike on the Dyno get it fine tunned and that stall will go away.

i had the dealer install everything, unless the mechanic screwed up on the fuel pak. i was hoping to avoid bringing it back to the shop, getting raped on charges just for harley to tell me that there is nothing wrong, or that they're gonna have to tinker with it for a while.
