Hey guys. Purchased my '04 Sporty XL883 used. The guy who I purchased it from didn't mention anything about having the keyfob (or alarm keyring) but I see it mentioned in the manual.
I'm sure this was an option when he purchased his bike and it could be that he's never had one, but if that's the case, how much is it to add one and what all does the system consist of?? Wondering if I could install one myself?
I had the latest security system installed on my 07, wish I would not of now as I very seldom let the bike out of my sight , if I ever loose the little module good luck trying to over ride it in my case, and if there going to steal it there going to get it one way or another.
I also don't use mine much either but Im still glad I have it. I'm sure there will come a time when it is useful and I like all the bells and whistles....
