Can anyone please tell me how to do a burn out on a motorcycle? Im really not too sure and dont want to just try something and drop the bike. Also curious is my 883 able to do a burn out? P.s. any pics would be awsome!
I have never done one but if I were, I'd hold the front brake tight, put her in first gear. Throttle up and pop the clutch. (Not letting go of the front brake)
Easiest way to learn is to put your front tire up against a wall, a STRONG wall not sheetrock. Give it some gas an let out the clutch. This way while learning what it takes to break the rear tire free, you don't have to worry about holding the brake.
Be carefull , once you let the clutch dont touch Äąt agaÄąn tÄąll your show ends or you wÄąll burn the clutch aswell , and yes an 883 sporty can do that pretty well .
I dÄąd Äąt once at the 3rd natÄąonal hog rally here Äąn Turkey , burned nealy half of the tire. ( Äą was drunk )
PractÄącÄąng wÄąth the front tÄąre agaÄąnst a wall Äąs the best and try allways to sit on the bÄąke .
oh another thÄąng , dont try to shift to 2nd gear or you can serÄąously damage the trans..
I disagree with sitting on the bike. I stand, that allows me to push down on the handlebars helping keep the front tire planted, it also puts less weight on the rear tire resulting in less traction and it breaking free easier. Finally, while the wheel's spinning you can push it side to side a little with your thighs to keep it were you want.
Yeah but burnouts are still fun no matter what your in or on; especially when it's someone else's equipment you're ragging on. The rental car companies must hate me by now
