First, modern Harleys WILL start in neutral WITHOUT the clutch pulled in but WILL NOT START IN GEAR regardless of clutch position, so no fear of lurching forward.
Second, all auto start systems for cars I've ever seen, OEM or otherwise can't be put in gear after auto start without engine stall unless the key is in the ignition or a fob is present. I won't debate the need for one but the ability to build one that works would be simple.

Just for the record...this necro resurrection missed the record by a few month. The original resurrection was in March had it actually been resurrected in December then it would have beat the record by a few months...very close but no prizes for the resurrectionist.
