As cHarley stated, the EVO engines call for 30 micron filters, and that Fram filter is a 10 micron. It will basically run in by-pass mode & not filter the oil. My family has used Fram filters on all our vehicles since I was a twinkle in my fathers eye, but my Sporty gets the 30 micron HD filter, the Mobil 1 15W50 5qt jug of synthetic auto oil that cHarley stated, and a good 75W90 gear oil for the primary.

Harley filter, Mobil 1 15w50, and Mobil 1 75W90 gear oil in the tranny for me too.

Royal Purple 20w50 in the motor
75W90 in the tranny
worked for me
