I have the baffles out on my '03 1200 C Sporty and its a lot louder than stock. Its loud but i dont think its loud enough to get ticketed. I have heard bikes louder than mine on the road!!

A buddy of mine who is a custom builder in the area says that and a new air filter is almost as good as getting new pipes and air filter...plus it's a lot cheaper. He's going to do that to mine until I have the $500 to get a new set of pipes.
