Thank you Gypsy for posting I was good after surgery.
At the end of July, instead of 2 a weeks ride thru the Southwest, I woke up in ICU & had to be told about the truck who turned in front of us (see 'wrecked' thread). 5 months later-I have hopefuly had my last surgery & will be back on two wheels soon! PIA having to be driven any/everywhere I have to go-UGH!
After eye surgery, I am seeing only ONE of everything again, thank God!!
Eyes are VERY red, and feel like a belt sander had it's way with them..very little pc, tv, bright light time right now. But I am SO HAPPY!!
To get an idea....cross your eyes while riding on a boat...now stay that way for 5 months....yeah, it sucketh!
The body, except for some very stubborn road rash on my shoulder, has healed up well. No wreck memory still, but that's okay..I can live with that. I have short term memory issues too...but I'm hopeful that is just the brain healing still, & that will clear up in time.
I still need to new post about my new sled & what a cool happening that was...but the eyes have had enough for now. Thank you everyone, for the posts, emails, phone calls, private messages, etc... You have no idea how much those meant to me!!
