hey all. lookin to change the my headlight on my 69 xlh from a top mount, to a bottom mount, eliminating a lot of extra metal and gaudyness up there. problem is, id like to do it with no modification to the front tubes. the later 70s models had bolts on the fork crossmember where a braket could be mounted.. on mine there is really nothing. i was thinking there may be a bracket that clamps on the fork tubes? any other ideas? getting a billet braket is gonna be quite pricy..
the ironhead forum doesnt get a lot of traffic, so i think i may have a better shot here..
