I plan on chopping the fender and the fender strut and getting rid of the strut cover so until then, i'm just gonna get bumper plug to cover up the holes.

Right on. Looks good.

My plate is mounted near my tail lights similar to yours. I just drilled a hole in the bottom of the lense for the light. Not as bright as yours but definitely does the job well.

Here it is lit up with the garage lights still on.

stupid question that i could probably just look at the pictures and do, but will shortening the turn signal arms (or eliminating) make the signals hit the strut cover? i like the look alot

Thebigsix,
No it doesn't touch the strut cover. What I did was I used the shorter bolts that held the fender to the fender instead of the original bolts that was used to hold the tail lights to the fender strut. Just slide the shorter bolts through the fender and the strut/strut cover and tighten it up with a nut. When it''s nice and tight screw on the tail light until it can't be tightened no more and finish tightening from the inside the fender. I hope i explained it clearly for you to understand.

you could get a exhaust clamp that fits around your rear shock to then mount you tag plate to didnt look or work out to bad when i looked into it,but ended up useing a building bar offcut and mounting of the bottom shock.exhaust u clamp 75mm i think would only cost a few bucks so might be an option to get you bye for awhile

Default Official Ghetto license plate bracket complete.

Went to home depot today to find a pipe clamp to temporarily fab license plate bracket just like one of the fellow forum said. Found one that was wrapped in black rubber so decided that's just what i need. came home, drilled holes, cut, and bend for it to work. wrapped it around the shock, zip tied it so it'll hug the shock and not slide down and then bolted the license plate. Took Mr. Reed's idea and got rid of the light since it's very close to the tail light and it worked perfectly. I think it looks simple and very clean so I decided the hell with buying a pricey bracket from online, this is my official bracket. Love the way it came out and it only cost me $1.60 YEAH!
