Been offline for a while. Have we started talking about the '07's yet? Just came frm the dealer. Rumors seem to have been true in some regard.
All 2007's are FI standard. All have 6 speeds...including Sporties. Plus, big twin 88's got bumped to 96's.
Curious how this affects ridability and customization. Unconfirmed rhetoric by some people at the dealer stated that the new engine setups make it tough to go aftermarket exhaust suggesting untunable flat spots in the curve being the result.
Started talking about it??? We're already done! There's a few threads on the first 3 pages. Your dealer's misleading you a bit... the B.T.'s have the 6-speed, not the Sporty's. Sorry. [:@]
W/ the FI, you can't just rejet the carb when changing pipes / a/c. Got to buy some fancy computer stuff to make it right or take it to the dealer. Be happy with your carb.... I am!
Yep...Went to the dealer today, they had 30 2007's in stock. A few Sporty's and the rest big twin and touring bikes. All were pretty sweet. I like the Fatboy changes and the 200mm rear looks sweet. The Sporty looked a bit strange to me without the choke **** sitting there. In it's place were a bunch of electric cables. Definitely looked high tech, but it still lacked that traditional Harley appearance. I will say though, the Dyna's and Softails really are looking good. Would love to test out the 96 cu in engine.....They offered, I kindly declined. Don't need to get hooked on something else....Oh, the Sporty's are still 5 speed...
