Thank you, i can read.... He did mention he had already done a stage 1, but no mention of a se race tuner and he has stock pipes on his nightster..... So i suggest those items, it will give him the power he is looking for.....

+2 That's exactly what I was going to suggest. In the price range you mentioned, they can probably give you more power than you want.

Actually, a "Stage 1" typically involves replacement of the stock pipes, stock air cleaner and the necessary tweaks to the a/f mix to richen it up after the increased air flow (either carb jetting or using the se race tuner or equivilent). And since he did not mention having a stock exhaust on his 1200N, people who read AND understand what someone is talking about did not suggest a "stage 1" to someone who said that they already had one.

Thanks for the advice guys. If changing cams isn't gonna give me more low and mid then I will probably just stay with the stock ones. Now I am debating whether to just port the heads I have, or go with the 1250 kit and have them port it as well before I get it. Unless it comes that way already? Can't find anyone I would trust to do the porting in town so I would have to send the heads off to get ported. The best indy shop I could find in town said run me $700.00 for the port job plus labor for them to pull the heads off and put em back on. They have to send the heads off so means I have to go without my bike for two to three weeks. Gonna give NHRS a call and see what they say. They sell the 1250 kit for $700.00 as well. Then perhaps the valves and pistons may be the way to go. Either way gonna see what NHRS has to say. I do have stage 1, python slip ons, a big sucker, and doebeck TFI for my fuel adjustments. Gonna switch to the short shots exhaust soon. I know a 2 into 1 exhaust would give me more performance but I don't like the look. Willing to sacrifice a little power for looks as far as that goes. Anyway, everyones comments are much appreciated.
