front lowering kit LA Choppers
Looking to drop the front of a 06-Custom about 1 1/4". Any one ever used the LA Chopper kit? Just as good as the Progressive's kit? I see Retrogressive has a kit called, DROP IN, looks simple but I would think the more it's lowered the softer the spring would get.So I'm not sure about that one too. I did a Search but couldn't find much on LA Choppers kit .

Can't really comment on either of the kits as I'm not into lowering, which tends to cause parts to drag in the twisties. But, have you considered just sliding the fork tubes up in the triple trees and inch or so? Along with some heavy duty (15w) fork oil or a set of Progressive springs, I'd think you would be fine.
