Default Converting my '01 883

Hi Everyone,
I am converting my engine from 883cc to 1200cc. I had a S&S air intake on the bike so I assume that the carb has been re-jetted but I don't know how to tell.

So far I have grabbed...

SE High flow K&N air filter PN 29041-88B

SEII mufflers Slash Down PN 80290-99A

Cyl & Piston Kit PN 16447-88A

Cyl Heads PN 16677-05

New Gaskets PN 17032-91

Pushrods PN 18424-06

I am confused on two things.

1. Is this a stage 1 or stage 2 or neither?
2. Do I need to change the Ignition Module?
3. Am I missing any parts?

Stage 1 is generally pipes, air cleaner and carb re-jet. Stage 2 would be cams. This is more of a conversion.

As far as the carb goes, there is a number stamped on the bottom of the jets. You can tell by that number if it was been re-jetted. That doesn't really matter though, because you will need to re-jet anyway once you increase the engine size. No need to replace ignition.

I can tell you that you are going to spend a whole lot of money on that set up and not get much in return.
The heads are just stock Screamin Beagle stuff that have been milled, they still need to be ported to get good flow and you don't need the push rods unless you use those heads,
The cylinder/piston kit is totally over priced.
The mufflers will work perfect.
The air cleaner kit was discontinued years ago, but it is a good product if you can find a good used or old stock one.
If you want something that runs contact HeadQuarters or NHRS and have your stock heads ported and have your stock cylinders bored, this works way better than hodge podging a bunch of stuff together.
You will definitely need a good ignition and a good reason for buying everything from 1 supplier (not HD).
You should be talking to one of these good builders. Guess work can get real expensive to fix.
Don't mean to burst your bubble but that set up would run OK but you could so much more if you'd use the aftermarket.

1: Are those pushrods adjustable? If so make sure you have collapsible pushrod covers as part of the kit.
2: Make sure to get SE exhaust gaskets.
3: A 1200 stock ignition will make life easier but it's not needed also there are way better options.
4: Service Manual For your model and year bike.
5: Any Cam?
6: The SE air cleaner kit is junk.

7: I agree with Jag (), You seem to put this together without any research and you will have spent more for the returns you will get. But its your barbecue.

I think there would be a lot of people that would disagree that the air filter kit I purchased is junk since there are many posts that say it is great. Being told I don't need gaskets because mufflers are slip-ons. I purchased from my HD and having them install. I did research and because HD did not make a kit for my bike I have to buy part by part. I am not a fan of 3rd party stuff and bringing that to someone and having them install. Not interested in a hot rod, but thanks for answering my question.

Dude there are few high standing places that will give you a complete kit for that bike. From mild to wild and all of them tested, true and proven to be better than Screaming Eagle. For less money. (just sayin).
