Question about iron 883 pricing...

I went in to buy a black denim Iron XL833N and came out with a black/silver denim Nightster XL1200N last fall. Paid $8,900 after negotiating. Pipes, intake superturner+dyno and a few other goodies brought it right back up to $10,500 MSRP out the door. HD financing was 9.9% and I am paying it off quickly as there is no penalty to do so in the state of MD. I consider that a high interest loan which I took in concession of the lower principle (part of the negotiations). Good luck!

bought my 09 iron last april, i had 32" drag bars installed,screaming eagle stage 1 air cleaner,v&h short shots(black) installed, with 5 % sales tax and title registration i paid 9580.... 5.65% thru my bank because harley was at 9.9 and thats stupid..

I am going to be looking to buy very shorty also, probably leaning toward used now but just curious. Is the dealer generally less willing to negotiate on price when you are not financing though them? I mean if I get a loan from an outside bank or whatever, it would essentially be a cash transaction for them, I'm just wondering if they look to get more because they won't be getting any interest through their financing.
