please help me find this part.
I dont know how to post a picture, but I have it on my profile pic. Its the black arm or arms, that hug the back fender on a nightster, where everytihng attaches to..

If you are talking about the metal parts that are welded to the frame and hold the fender those would be the fender struts. You can't really buy those as they are a part of the frame. If you are talking about the pieces that cover those, they are the fender strut covers.
Im looking for the same thing: black fender strut covers for an 05 sportster. I can not locate them anywhere. Also looking for OEM style fron and rear turn signals for an 05 and cant find those either. Am i looking in all the wrong places?

All I can suggest is Ebay or the classifieds here if they don't have the parts at the local dealer. The dealer should have or be able to order any OEM parts that you need. You can also pick up a parts manual (not to be confused with the service manual). Get the part numbers you need out of it and then tell them to get them for you at the dealer.

Strut covers from '04 and up will fit. Have your originals powdercoated black - about $30. You could get take-offs from Ebay/classifieds powdered, or order a set of black covers from the dealer. The Nighster and Iron as well as the Low models come with black strut covers from the factory.
