I put on about 500 miles just this week riding to work. I do 112 miles a day, half highway and half farm roads. It really is a nice ride, mountains, farms, trains. Plus having an hour of riding in before I get to work and before I get home puts me in a pretty good mood, the ride home helps you unwind a lot.

I also have to strap my laptop to my back, I figure if I ever get caught in the rain and stuck under an overpass I can just take it out and sit there and play games.

I can't wait until I can ride my sporty to work, of course it wont be for a while considering i just bought the bike 2 weeks ago and took it out for the first time today. I get my license on the 20th after taking my motorycle driving course classes. I bet it wont be that long after that I'll be taking the piglet to work on a regular basis!!!

Some of you guys have a long haul to get to work. It's right at 10 miles each way for me, with all of it being local traffic. Not the most scenic ride in the world, but it's still a lot more fun than driving my car to work. This week was the first time I've ridden to work the entire week. It's kinda cool not having driven my car since last weekend.

I'm jealous. I'm stuck driving a service van most of the time, but I occassionally get a chance to ride in. I like the detachable windscreen and have been riding without it on these warm, summer afternoons. Feels good to have the wind blow through the jacket.
