I have an 08 XL1200L and I put the Sundowner on it. MUCH more comfortable than the stock seat. My sig picture still shows the old seat. The Sundowner is much bulkier, but that doesn't bother me.

started with stock 1200c, then to the mustang one piece and now the wide mustang. this one is the only one that gave a lot of butt time to both me and my +1.

Absolutely +1. I'm 6'1 230 and have this seat on my bike. Wide and comfortable for longer rides and enough cushion that you don't feel every little bump.
A lot of people on the forum (me included) have had great luck with Mean City Seats. Cheaper than buying a new seat and your *** will thank you for it.
