Check Engine is on off on off about 5 times in a hr ride
Checked the alarms and I get a 61006/61007 ? searched the internet and it shows me a gas tank ? any help here ?
Maybe its really B1006/B1007 not sure because its says 61006/61007 baybe it's a " b " this is really getting frustrating
If anyone ever had these code please help a brother out I want to fix it myself not pay $100's of dollars to have someone look at it for me and keep my bike 3 days !
If you refer to the helpful DIY/diagnostic code sticky thread at the top of this forum you will find what you are looking for. A couple of clicks and I found this:
B1006 Accessory Line Overvoltage Instruments
B1007 Ignition Line Overvoltage Instruments
I found them already just trying to find out what I might need to look at on the bike to fix this issue ! and if anyone else out here has had this problem. Heading out now to look at all wires and connections.
Overvoltage would indicate to me the voltage regulator, check the voltage with a multimeter with the engine running at about 2000 RPM, should not be much over 14.5 volts.
I will check the voltage tomorrow when I bring my meter home " Thanks "
I tightened up every wire, ground cables I could find some were a little loose but not to much, I cleared the alarms and adjusted the a/f a tad and off for a 12 mile run ! No alarms so far
Thanks for everyones help I hope this does it but I will check the voltage tomorrow.

A loose ground wire can cause the computer to loose it's voltage reference point and the result can be false over/under voltage alarms.
