I would take a look at an NRHS kit, just a little more money than a big bore kit on Ebay but they have a very good reputation and Dan will help you if you have problems.
I found a set of Ross Forged Pistons, rings and a James gasket kit for my 883 for $50. at a garage sale. I will use my 883 jugs and heads and be in the whole thing for less than $400.
Ok guys, I'm new here and I did some searching and didn't see any answers to my question. I have an 07 883 and was wondering if I could just find a set of low mileage 1200 cylinders and pistons on ebay for about 150 bucks or so and use them for the swap using my stock heads. I know I would have to re-tune for air/fuel delivery but I'm assuming I could purchase a tuner to take care of that. I don't see why this wouldn't be feasible...so if one of you guys with more know-how than me can give me some input I would appreciate it.

You can't use 1200 pistons with 883 heads the chambers are to small and you will end up with WAY to much compression. You have to use reverse dome pistons with 883 heads or you need a set of 1200 heads to go with those 1200 pistons.
There doesn't seem to be a cheap way to 883/1200 the newer bikes you also have to pay to retune it some how, if you want cheap maybe you should sell your bike and get a different one.

Thanks for the info. However I don't plan on selling my bike now, or ever for that matter. Maybe I should define what I meant by saying cheap...I meant saving money over buying a 1300 dollar screaming eagle kit. I personally don't have alot of money to throw away and I don't see anything wrong with saving a buck.

You should be able to bore the cylinders on that year of bike and just buy a set of pistons and then get an inexpensive tuner, but you are still talking about a grand at least, especially if you are paying someone else to do the work.
