What size are the stock ones on an Iron? I have 8" Road 6 Custom apes and would like to go up a little. Thinking about 3.5" risers. Stock are what, about 1?

I have an 09 Iron with the harley mini apes and licks 3.5" straight risers, and the only cable I replaced was the brake cable. The others are a little tight but still fit. My gas tank is raised about an inch and a half, so the top clamp is now level with the top of the gas tank, so it looks good.

I like the look of your setup. Think I'll have to order a set of licks risers for my Iron. Should have just gone with the 12" Apes but I didn't want to change all the cables. Guess I'll see if they still work with the risers. I already swapped out my brake line.

Bruce- Do the handlebars feel like they move back and forth. I just installed 12" ape with 4" risers and I get this movement. I took it out around the nieghborhood and when ever I came to a stop, it felt I was going to bend the bars off the motorcycle. The riser bolts are tight.

I have 4" risers with my mini apes and can't imagine them being any lower or higher. Please use the poly bushings and not the rubber ones when you do the install.
