anyone running these shocks on their sporty?
my mechanic is suggesting these- i trust him and just want to see what others think...
i was ready to put on progressives or road kings and he suggested that i consider the works performance
I put Progressive 412's on my bike and after 300 miles, took them off and replaced them with Works Performance shocks. The difference was like night and day. Might have been because they were 412's and not 440's so I can't make a fair comparison; however, the Works are better for me.
works will be on my bike pretty soon. Either those or the Progressive 418s. Still leaning towards the street trackers from Works. Similar pricing as the Progressive 418s. I went to Works personally and he quoted me street trackers (black or polished with black springs) in any length customized to my riding style and weight for $469 OTD (gave me a discount of 10%). They'd be ready in 2-3 weeks.
I am sure Lawndale buys direct from works or through Drag Specialties. Best bet is to contact them direct and see what kind of deal you can work after reading what Papadop has said.
looks like lawndale cycle is going to have pierre (owner of works) custom build some for me!!
they are talking and when i know i will post back... man, thats service! (probably expensive service, but hey its service in any case!)

They custom build them all for your weight and style of riding as long as you order through Works.
