What is the widest tire/rim can you can put on a 97 883 sporster with out moding frame and what ever else?

I think the widest you can go is 140 and then you need to check to make sure nothing is going to rub under the rear fender.That is if it uses the same wheel as my 97 1200C.Which came with a 130.
