Default Nightster Mirrors

Just wondering...How easy is it to flip my mirrors so they hang from underneath my handlebars? Hope that makes sense.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's a cake. just loosen bolts and flip to the other side, turn signals may get in the way if located on the handlebars but you should be able to move things around so they fit. In the future you may want to relocate turn signals to the forks. IMHO, I have more rear visibility with the flipped mirrors, my shoulders aren't in the way.

Step 1: pop top on beer
Step 2: sip-chug it down.
Step 3: Loosen nut on post of bottom of mirrors
Step 4: switch left for right and vise versa upside down of course
step 5: reattch nut now on top
step 6: turn them so they don't hit turn signals or fuek tank when you turn the bars
step 7: drink one more beer and admire your work
Total time 15 min (10 to drink some beer and wheel the bike aroun and 5 to actually do the work)

Kraut & EdDoc,

Thanks for the quick reply.
Step 1, 2, & 7 came in quite handy.

Looks great!

+2, but you might want to take your time and drink another beer in there somewhere just to slow things down.

Good step-by-step breakdown but I need something that is going to keep me in the garage for a few more hours....a couple more beer steps would do the trick
