Default Quick Question

Yesterday while looking at my risers I noticed a small hole that is tapped on the top triple tree, right side, below the riser. Did I have a grease fitting there that back out? Never noticed it before. This is on an 09 Iron.

Edit: Nobody can look at their bike and tell me if they too have this hole or if it should have something like a grease fitting?

There shouldn't be a grease fitting on the triple tree. There might be one on the frame neck, but not the triple tree. It may be the hole that the brake line screws to though.

This hole is on the back side near the tank on the top tree. Don't remember removing anything from there but who knows. Next Sportster I find I'll look at theirs.

Jut looked at my '09 1200C. There is a clamp mounted there that that holds the end of the flexible brake line from the Master Cyl. where it attaches to the metal brake line tube.

Thanks Rasaine. Guess I thought it only went to the clamp under the bottom one. It's been a year since I removed the stock line after putting on my apes. I didn't think a grease fitting made any sense but I didn't want to have a hole there for water to get in. This forum rocks!
