I needed a pair of wipers on my wileyx's and a drain hole in my boots. Soaked and all it was still worth the ride to work.
HaHaHa, been there, done that unknown number of times....
I've found that the worst part of riding in the rain is when the rain first starts, and you go into denial mode and hope that you might only get a little 'damp', and not soaked to the bone.
Of course that never happens, and within a few minutes you look and feel like a submerged sponge. But at that point it doesn't matter anymore, no false hopes in staying halfway dry, so you just go with the flow.
I get bummed out when I have to take my cage to work. Although, I have to admit. It's nice having a quiet ride, A/C, XM Radio and a cold tea glass next to you the whole time.
Still, like I tell my wife - I'D RATHER BE RIDING!
Started 3rd shift tonight. Bike riding to work is over for awhile. Just can't see riding to work in the dark and going home in the dark...and on the freeway. Enjoy as long as the weather holds. Sure makes the day better...when you get to ride.
