Today was my first ride on my 05 sportster into work, and I have been counting down the minutes until I can make the trip home. Now I'm down to an hour and time is not cooperating with me.
I almost feel bad for my employer today because I think I spent more time today showing the bike off to various people at work, day dreaming about the ride home and browsing the forums here than actually working.
Man I just sit here in my chair all day with my new bike out in my shop! Now feel bad. Maybe I'll go for a ride later if Im not too lazy to find my helmet and gloves.
I am a teacher and I have the bad kids in ISS or OCS whatever you want to call it and I have a computer at my desk...
that was a mistake to give me a computer and the internet... I don't do much at all just watch the kids make sure they are doing their work and staying quiet...
the rest of the time i am on the internet looking for a good deal on a motorcycle and trying to find cheap and good ideas to do with my while day dreaming of course...
I think all motorcycle riders day dream of riding... if they don't the really don't love it...
I'm riding tomorrow. Didn't today because of rain, but went to the stealer down the road at lunch time and bought some gloves for cold weather. On days I ride I slam down lunch and take a 40 minute ride around the lake. That ride along with the almost hour ride each way to work still doesn't seem to satisfy my riding obsession. I'm really jealous of my father. He is in the lawn care business and his work has dropped off here in the northeast due to no rain. He takes almost daily road trips on his new bike.
Jeez. I take mine to work even when I know it's going to rain comming home. Just like today. So, I was late for dinner because I just had to dry it off ..... before I dried me off! I think we are all suffering from some kinda biker sickness. Think there is a pill to cure this?
There isn't a day goes by I don't ride or think about it. I was bound and determined yesterday come hell or highwater, well the water came alright. I needed a pair of wipers on my wileyx's and a drain hole in my boots. Soaked and all it was still worth the ride to work.
