I'm thinking about putting on some 12" apes, possibly Roland Sands on the Nightster. Does anyone know what cables I need to change out and what length?

You will have to cut and splice the wiring.

I just put a set of 12" mini apes on my ride and these are what I ordered and used.

Get a Novello wiring harness extension for the wiring. Simple and color coded.

I'm running 12"RSD bars on 3" RSD risers for a total of 15" off the tree. I went 8+ stock on all my lines. You may need shorter though depending on your riser height. Hope this helps!
