Drilled out the baffles with a 1/2" hole saw and love the sound. Flipped the mirrors and didn't know they were too close to the gas tank so when I started the bike the edge of the mirror rubbed off a small area of paint on the gas tank. Not a real big blemish but I notice it. Has anyone used touch up paint on the iron? Since there's no clear coat I don't know if compound would help spread the paint.
Anyway, put the mirrors right-side-up to avoid further tank scuffs.

See I want a 07 or up SG, but don't want to spend all that cash and the sporty is just so fun to ride and easy to handle so I'm sticking with the sporty. Nice to see that you came to our world LOL!

Been thinking the same thing. Tradin' my '06 King on an Iron, 48 or Nightster. Especially with the 1% financing deal before the end of the month.
Went down and sat on one, but didn't ride it. The mid-peg setup feels a little strange.

I just did hunderd miles today and the I thought that I wouldn't like the mids either, but it felt just right. Keep in mind that you can always put forward pegs for stretching out. Remember that the Iron is a rough lady and not the soft, nice house wife that the Geezer Glide is. I liked the rough romp with this scoot.
