85 Iron head, Just started backfiring....
I have an 85 roadster, recently when I start it up it starts fine. If I take off within 3-4 minutes it will backfire through the carb once or twice when I give it gas to go. After a couple times or about 30 seconds down the road it runs fine.
I took the plugs out and the front cylinder piston head looks carboned up and the rear cylinder looks clean. The front plug was carboned as the rear plug was a grey ash color.
I changed the plugs in the spring. Could the front plug be fouled?
