That's probably about it. Since there is no shock absorption at that height, you may as well build/buy a set of struts instead. You can get really low that way.

You can't really judge what your bike will look like from my bike. I am running a 2" longer swing arm with a set of 11.75 mounted in the stock location on the swing arm which lowers my bike a lot.
Skullman did build this set of shocks for me, he took them apart and added an extra set of bump stops into them to limit the travel so the tire won't drag in the top of the fender and gives a considerable better ride than struts (there's about 3/4" of travel left).
