Alright guys I'm brand new here...Did a little searching and have to say this is a great site...Here's my question...
So I work at a Harley shop, and we just had our open house. I picked up a Harley Security System for $50 brand new in box! Originally I was going to Ebay it and make some $$$, but my buddy has an 05 Sporty he wants to put it on...My question is, do I simply follow the instructions on the book (don't have a harley manual)...do those instructions marry the tssm to the bike? or do i also have to use this?
Yeah I know...Truth is I'd rather be back with service than in parts though...I see more things going on, and the crew back there is a lot more fun. I learn lots of stuff off the techs. It's always kind of cool to think I'm the guy who puts the first mile on everyone's new harley...I actually don't mind working as porter (excuse me...Hydro Tech), but it's not exactly a career I'm pursuing! Well I'm off to put this alarm in! Last question, where exactly is the TSM located so I'm not hunting around for it??
Well the installation went pretty smooth! At first I tried to follow all the instructions, but it didn't let the computer recognize the TSSM, so I had to use the instructions from the above thread and it worked perfect.
