Smaller Battery????

Anyone use a smaller battery? like the turn tech or anything else. I think my nightster uses a YTX20L-BS. Hummmmmm

Smaller in size is virtually synonymous with fewer CCA and the Sporty doesn't have a lot to spare as it is, especially in cold weather. I can't imagine anyone wanting a smaller CCA battery other than for a Show or Race bike.

Hey... please tell us why you want a smaller battery and perhaps we can give you another solution... I believe everybody here who did some research about a smaller battery replacement for the Sportster came back empty handed.. the smaller acid batteries are a no-no ... I only found some specialized gel batteries for high performance go carts that met the specifications and were smaller than stock HD... but they cost a freakin' fortune... ( if I remember correctly they were more than $300 )
