Default Registration Question

I bought my '06 883 XL about a month ago. The dealer told me I should keep a copy of the registration with the bike at all times. Where would I put this copy? Does anyone else keep a copy somewhere on there bike or do you carry a copy in your wallet?
I also passed my riders course today so I am pretty stoked about that.

Tool bag, under the seat, or you can get a tube that mounts on the forks, behind the plate, etc.

I do exactly as DieHard does; tool bag on the forks with a baggie for the registration and insurance card. That is also the location of my garage door opener, but I've got to hook up a remote switch for that soon. It's a darned long reach for a fat guy with short arms!

I keep mine in my wallet. But have often thought of bagging it and duct taping it under the seat.
There is a product that is a new licenseplate frame that is like a small glovebox. Holds papers and stuff, and has a lock.
Comes from J&P and I think Dennis Kirk as well.

I just keep mine in one of the pockets of the jacket I ride in. Since I always wear some jacket when riding, it works for me to just keep it in whichever jacket I'm using for the weather.

Registration and ins card in a ziplock taped to inside of left side (battery) cover. Free and I don't need to keep tools with me to get at it.

I keep mine in my wallet and nothing with the bike. Why make a thief legal by keeping it on the bike and giving him access to being able to show it if stopped? Also, if stolen, why give him access to your home address?
