Default Front tire..
What is the widest front tire I can put on the 2008 1200 custom without changing anything else?

You're pretty much limited to what you've got now as long as you have the 21" narrow 2.15" wide wheel. If you go with the standard 19" wheel that's stock on the other model Sporties, you can get more meat on the ground and about 3 times the tire mileage.

I dumped my 21" for a 19" after I got tired of replacing front rubber every 7,000 miles. Now I get around 25,000 out of a front tire and much better handling.

21" to 19"....humm.
What size tire on the 19". Front fender and forks stay the same??

You'll have to cut your front fender brackets ....
With a 19 front wheel, you can mount a 110/90/19 ...

Yep, the fender and forks stay stock with a 100/90-19.
